Day 1 Wednesday Delhi Cantonment (The Capital Getaway)
The train leaves from Delhi every Wednesday. At 1500 hours sharp, Royal Orient Train rolls out of Delhi Cantonment Railway Station. In the evening the guests are served tea and later in the night dinner is served on board.
Day 2 Thursday Chittaurgarh (The City of Courage)
The trains rolls in the historic city of Chittaurgarh that stands testament to the heroic resistance of the Rajputs against Muslim invasion. The 7th century Chittaur Fort sprawls over 700 acres of land and is truly of monster proportion. You can even see the cellar where Queen Padmini along with hundreds of Rajput women committed suicide to avoid falling to the enemy hand when the fall of Chittaurgarh to the invading army looked imminent. Udaipur

Day 3 Friday Mehsana (The Sun God Temple)
The train leaves Rajasthan and rolls into the Indian state of Gujarat. In Ahmedabad you will get the opportunity to see the Jumma Masjid, popularly called the most beautiful mosque of the orient. The famous Sun Temple that stands on a lotus is also a great tourist attraction. The shrine faces the east and the ray of the rising sun will fall on the sanctum creating an ethereal ambience.
Patan (The Beauty in Stepwell)
The place is famous for its step-wells. Every step is a wonder in sculpture and the creation of this type of architecture requires a lot of finesse and skill.
Day 4 Saturday Sasangir (See the Asiatic Lions)
Other than being a great ecological wilderness and a fantastic wildlife reserve, the place is also home to the majestic Asiatic lions. The existence of these lions were threatened by massive hunting expeditions but conservation has yielded results. Today, it is estimated that there are about 312 lions in the forest. Day 5 Sunday Palitana (The Temple Town)

Day 6 Monday Ranakpur
The place is 96 km from Udaipur and has five Jain shrines. You will find more than 500 temples in very good condition even to this day. The graceful pillars and carved domes are wonderful sight to behold.
Day 7 Tuesday Jaipur (The Pink City)
The city of Jaipur is strewned with historical landmarks. It is famous for its architectural wonders like the Hawa Mahal and the Jantar Mantar. The place is also famous for Rajasthani art and culture. The colorful dresses of Rajasthan always draws a lot of attention.
Day 8 Wednesday Delhi
