The city of Jaipur is the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan and is only a few hours drive from Delhi. The city is a must-see destination simply because of its grandeur. The best time to visit the city is between September and April. Being just 262 km away from Delhi, it is very easily accessible by road, rail and air. The palaces of sandstone and the forts of the time when Rajput warriors fought till death still remains the prime tourist attraction.
